To learn how exactly you can reset, update, clear cache and perform all tasks that described above read on!

1. Update Your Jabra Elite 65t

The outdated firmware of your Jabra Elite 65t can be a reason why it keeps disconnecting.

Therefore you should first update your earbuds to fix the problem.

Follow the steps below to update the firmware of your Jabra Elite 65t.

  • Download and install Jabra app on your device.
  • Pair your Jabra Elite 65t with the app.
  • Open the app and tap the Discover icon.
  • Tap update to start the update process.
  • After completing, agree to terms and enable the update.

2. Reset Your Jabra Elite 65t

Most of the time, Jabra Elite 65t disconnects from the device because of minor glitches.

To get rid of these glitches, you should perform a factory reset. It will refresh your Jabra Elite 65t.

Follow the steps below to factory reset your Jabra Elite 65t.

  • Fully charge your Jabra Elite 65t earbuds.
  • Remove the right bud from the charging Case and turn it on.
  • Press and hold the multifunction button on the right bud until it flashes purple.
  • The earbuds have now been reset.

3. Charge Your Jabra Elite 65t

The low battery of your Jabra Elite 65t is also the reason for the problem. When your Jabra Elite 65t battery is lower than 10%, they will disconnect from your device.

In addition, this number increases with time. After one and a half years, they will begin disconnecting at 18% battery.

Therefore to fix this problem, you should fully charge your Jabra Elite 65t and their charging case.

Moreover, to increase your bud’s battery life, charge them before they completely die.

4. Device Range & Interference

Mostly your Jabra Elite 65t will disconnect because they are far from the connected devices. The maximum Bluetooth range of Jabra Elite 65t is 800 feet.

So, if you use buds out of this range, they will disconnect from your device. Therefore for a stable connection between your Jabra Elite 65t and device, make sure they are close to each other.

Moreover, Wi-Fi routers and microwaves can interfere with Bluetooth signals, so your Jabra Elite 65t can begin disconnecting and reconnecting.

If your phone is connected to other earbuds, speakers, or electronic gadgets, it can also cause problems.

So, ensure you use Jabra Elite 65t away from running microwaves, Wi-Fi routers, and other devices.

5. Restart Your Phone

If your Jabra Elite 65t still keeps disconnecting from your device. Then maybe the problem is with your smartphone.

In rare cases, Jabra Elite 65t will disconnect because of your phone glitch.

However, you should at least restart your smartphone to ensure there is no glitch. Moreover, you should remove all previously paired gadgets from your smartphone.

Because sometimes, accumulated data decreases Bluetooth bandwidth and your buds keep disconnecting from it.

6. Clear Jabra App Cache

First thing is if you are not using the Jabra Sound + app for connecting your earbuds to your device.

Then use it because it stabilises the connection between your earbuds and device. However, if you are using a Jabra app and still facing the problem.

Then you need to clear the cache of your app.

Follow the steps below to clear the Jabra app cache.

  1. Open your device menu.
  2. Tap Settings.
  3. Tap Apps.
  4. Then find the Jabra app from the list of the apps.
  5. Tap Storage.
  6. Tap Clear Data.
  7. Then relaunch the Jabra app, and it’s done.

7. Re-Pair Earbuds with Device

Another thing you can try is unpair your Jabra Elite 65t and then again pair them.

Because sometimes there is a connection problem due to which your earbuds disconnect and reconnect or cut out.

Here is exactly what you should do to re-establish connection.

  • First unpair earbuds from a connected device.
  • Turn off Bluetooth of your device.
  • Clear Bluetooth history and all previously connected device’s data from your device.
  • Then reset your Jabra Elite 65t.
  • After resetting the earbuds charge for a few minutes.
  • Connect them with your device. They should not disconnect now.

  • Make sure earbuds and devices are within Bluetooth range.
