Your headset will not charge if you use a third-party charging cable because these are incompatible with the Sony headphones. So always use the original charging cable that is given with the headphones.

The second thing you should ensure is that the charging cable is firmly connected to both ends. Because sometimes, we don’t properly plug the charging cable, which creates the charging problem.

3. Charging Port Got Moisture

In most cases, the headset doesn’t charge because its charging port gets moisture and doesn’t allow the electricity to pass through.

Mostly the charging port will get moisture if you use your headset near the sink or the liquid container or if you are in rain or snow are high humidity. Also, if you touch your headset with wet hands.

So remember, if you have done one of these things with your headset recently, it means the charging port gets moisture, which is why your headset is not charging.

So you should dry the charging port of your headset with the help of a blower.

4. Headset is over-discharged

If your headset has not been charged for long, it will take more time to charge. Usually, if you will not charge your headset within six months, its battery will be over-discharged and take more time to recover.

It will start working fine after charging and discharging a few times.

Usually, Sony headphones will be charged within 2 hours; however, it can take longer to charge if over-discharged.

So I recommend you charge your headset for at least three to four hours.
