Are you trying to pair your Indy Evo earbuds together? If you want to use both earbuds simultaneously to enjoy the music or any call, there is a problem in pairing them together. There may be different reasons behind this issue.  Pairing any pair of earbuds together is not a challenging task, but sometimes, it can cause problems that irritate one. You may also be in the same situation but don’t worry. In this article, I will show you how you can pair your Indy Evo earbuds together easily. Moreover, you need to follow the steps carefully to solve your issue so that you can use your earbuds together.

How to pair Indy Evo earbuds Together

Like all other wireless devices, Indy Evo earbuds are unique products. However, users usually face this problem, so it’s normal and associated with this product.  To solve this problem, you may look forward to some things that may cause it. Try to check out if there are any of them. I am giving the details about them in the following so you can make sure that all causes are removed. Then, your earbuds will be paired.

You need to do the following steps.

The battery is charged to full.

First of all, you need to check if the battery of your earbuds is fully charged. If not, it must be at a level that can easily be used for pairing mode. Because earbuds usually face this problem if their battery runs short.  If the battery is low, pair them after they have charged. You may be successful in completing your task. If not, you can look for another way to solve it.

Turn off the solo mode.

Indy Evo earbuds are products built with the solo mode feature, which means that you can use one piece of the pair at a time. This feature has been added to help you be aware of your environment.  Suppose you are at a workplace so you can enjoy the music or attend your calls and do your work comfortably. So this feature is provided for your comfort and ease. But if you want to pair both meta times, you can turn off this mode, and then your Indy Evo earbuds will be paired. This usually happens when you pick one word from the charging case, and it will automatically be in solo mode. So you must put both birds in the charging case, pick them up, and connect them to the phone.

Both connection range

You may encounter this problem if you use one earbud at a distance that exceeds the limit of your Bluetooth range. Therefore, you should check whether you are using both earbuds within the given range.  Also, check if your Bluetooth feature in the device allows only one earbud to pair at a time. In that case, you need to turn that feature off so that your device accepts the connection with both earbuds at a time.

Disconnect and reconnect them.

Another method that can solve your problem is disconnecting the earbud connected to your device and refreshing the Bluetooth settings. Then, after this again, try to connect your Indy Evo earbuds. Both of them will be paired with your device.  But if this also doesn’t work, then you can use the next step, Which is to restart them. This will clear the cache of the product, which may also prove helpful to you.

Restart Indy Evo earbuds.

Now, if you have checked that the battery is complete and you are in Bluetooth connection range, turn them off for a few seconds and restart your Indy Evo earbuds. This will make it clear if there is any bug that may be the reason for the Indy Evo earbuds not pairing together.

Power off will set them at rest and refresh them automatically. Your device will be able to catch both of them, and you can connect them both at a time.

  1. You must press and hold the button on both earpieces for at least 10 to 15 seconds.
  2. Then, you will hear power on, pairing, and, ultimately, power off. At this time, release the button.
  3. Then again, press the button for 5 seconds to power them on.
  4. Now, you can pair both earbuds.

Firmware update of the earbuds

If there is a software update available for your product, that may also cause you to face the problem. So, you need to check for an update on this process. You can follow these steps.

  1. You need to download the Skullcandy app on your phone
  2. Connect your skull carry into birds to this app on the phone
  3. Then, go to the app notification bar. There, you will see the notification of updates, if any are available.
  4. You can easily update it from there and then use your Indy Evo earbuds.

Factory reset

Another way to solve your problem is to factory reset your product. This will set all the settings to the default as in a new product. So, if there is any setting you are unaware of, maybe the cause of the issue you are facing will be refreshed.

After that, you can again pair your earbuds according to the setting of your choice. Now, there is a question about how to do a factory reset.

  1. You must press and hold the button on both earbuds for at least 10 seconds.
  2. Then you will hear the sound like power on pairing, power off, and then again power on.
  3. As you hear the second power on, release the button, and your earbuds will be reset.
  4. Now, you can again set the settings according to your choice. Be careful about features that don’t allow you to use both earbuds simultaneously.

Conclusion

Finally, I will say that if you want to pair your Indy Evo earbuds together, you should check the battery level of your product and make sure you are within the device’s Bluetooth connection range. Furthermore, you must check for updates to your device’s firmware software. If any update is available, you should restart your product or try to factory reset it. Your problem will be solved by doing this.  Anyhow, if your problem persists and you are not able to solve it, then contact customer support at the official website of Skullcandy products.
