As time passes, the magnetic attraction decrease, so you can’t fix that.

In extreme cold or hot temperatures, your Onn earbuds can stop charging. Because they have lithium-ion batteries that stop working in extreme temperatures.

So, if you have been using your earbuds in a sauna, steam room, or cold temperature. Due to that, they had stopped charging.

Therefore first, bring your Onn earbuds temperature back to normal, or we can say room temperature.

Place your earbuds in the room for 2 to 3 hours. After that, try to charge your earbuds.

Sometimes Onn earbuds will not charge because of the damaged pin of the charging case.

If one of the pins of the charging case will not be the same in height, it will not connect to the charging poles of the earbuds.

In rare cases, Onn earbuds can stop charging because of outdated firmware.

However, you should update the firmware. Because it will eradicate many minor glitches from your earbuds and increase their performance.

If your earbuds are not charging after trying the above troubleshooting steps. Then maybe your earbud’s charging cable or wall adapter is faulty.

Because of that faulty charging cable or wall adapter, your charging case is not charging, resulting in your earbuds not charging.

The first thing that you should do is plug the charging cable into the case and see its LED indicator. If it is flashing, then your charging cable is not faulty.

However, if your charging case LED is not flashing, the charging cable or wall adapter is faulty. Try another wall adapter with the current charging cable; if that doesn’t work, try a different charging cable with the present wall adapter.

In this way, you will figure out which thing is causing the issue. So, buy that thing (charging cable or wall adapter) a new one.

8. Damaged Charging Case Battery

If neither of the above things works for your Onn earbuds. Then maybe your earbud’s charging case or its battery is damaged.

Because of that, it is not supplying enough power to charge earbuds.

Most charging cases will damage if you drop them on a hard floor or expose it to water. Moreover, the charging case battery will damage if you expose it to extreme heat (such as in a sauna or steam room) or cold.

If you think these things have been done recently with your earbuds or their charging case. Then replace their battery.

You can replace the charging case battery, but you will need to go to a technician. Because replacing the battery at home will be really difficult for you.

You can also buy new charging case. If you don’t want to mess up things.

How can I extend the battery life of my earbuds?

  • A partial charge is preferable to a whole one. If at all possible, you should try to keep the level around 80% or lower. Don’t leave the charging overnight.
