Let’s take a closer look at possible reasons why the case is not charging and how you can fix it.

1. Check Charging Cable

The charging cable is the primary thing involved in the case’s charging process. If it is damaged, then your case won’t charge.

When you bend or twist the charging cable, the internal wires disconnect, and the current doesn’t pass through and case doesn’t charge.

If you are using a third-party charging cable, don’t use it; always use the original charging cable.

So, first, test whether the charging cable is faulty or not by using a mobile cable or another charging cable. If with the new charging cable case begins charging, then your primary cable is defective, and you need to replace it.

However, if the case is not charging with the new charging cable, move on to the following fixes.

2. Check Wall Adapter

The wall adapter is another main thing involved in the charging process. Maybe it has been damaged; that’s why your JLab Go Air earbuds case is not charging.

Therefore you should check if it is responsible for the problem.

Try the mobile phone wall adapter to charge the case. If the case is charging with the mobile adapter, then your old adapter is damaged, and you need to replace it to fix the issue.

However, if the charging problem persists, then read the following solutions.

3. Charging Port

When you plug the charging cable into the case’s charging port, it begins charging. You need to check the charging port to see if it is damaged or not.

Because sometimes, dirt or debris in the charging port doesn’t let the charging cable fit correctly, and as a result, the case does not charge.

Therefore check the port; if dirt is in it, clean it with the help of a toothpick.

Also, if you have dropped the case on the hard floor, the charging port wires may disconnect from the circuit board. To fix this, you need to consult a technician.

4. PC in Sleep Mode

Sometimes we don’t have a wall adapter; that’s why we charge the case by plugging it into the PC.

However, if your PC is in sleep mode, the charging case won’t charge. Therefore to charge your JLab Go Air case disable sleep mode on your PC.

Here is how you can disable sleep mode on your PC.

  1. Open the control panel of your PC.
  2. Go to power options.
  3. Click Change plan settings next to the current power plan.
  4. Change (put the computer to sleep) to never.

5. Temperature Problem

At an extremely hot temperature case, stop charging to prevent the circuit board from being damaged. Maybe your charging case has been placed under direct sunlight for hours.

That’s why it is not charging, or it has been plugged in overnight due to which overheated and not charging.

So, check if your charging case feels hot, then bring its temperature back to normal by placing it at room temperature for a few hours.

After that, plug the charger into the case; hopefully, it will begin working.
