Jabra Elite 65t Case Not Charging (Fixed)

Is your Jabra Elite 65t case not charging? Don’t worry; the same thing happened to my earbuds yesterday and instead of throwing them.

I researched on the internet and found a few ways to troubleshoot this problem.

Let’s take a look on these ways.

Jabra Elite 65t Case Not Charging

If your Jabra Elite 65t case is not charging it could be due to software glitches, faulty charging cable, use of third-party charging cable, dirt in charging case and its port and overheating. To troubleshoot, you will need to reset your case, replace charging cable with original one, clean charging case and its port and wait until case’s temperature normalize.

If you did not understand what to do on each step then read on.

1. Reset the Case

If this doesn’t work for your case, you should try another method to reset your case.

  • Plug the charging case into the non-apple charger.
  • Open the charging case, remove the earbuds, and leave its lid open.
  • Wait for 2 hours.
  • Unplug and close the case before placing the buds into it.

2. Check Charging Cable

The charging cable is the main contributor to the charging process. If it is damaged, then your case will not charge. Mostly charging cords get damaged due to regular twists and bends.

Maybe your charging cable is not working; that’s why your case is not charging.

So you should test it to know if it is faulty or not. Try to charge your phone or other earbuds case with the current charging cable.

If your phone doesn’t charge, then the cable is faulty, and you need to replace it.

3. Use Original Charging Cable

Sometimes the original charging cable is not long enough or stops working; that’s why you use a third-party cable.

However, every third-party charging cable is not compatible with any charging case because charging cases need a specific current supply to pass through the current to the battery.

Therefore if you are not using the original charging cable, use it; maybe you are using a third-party charging cable, due to which your case is not charging.

4. Check Wall Adapter

The wall adapter is another essential thing in the charging of the case. If your Jabra Elite 65t case is not charging, maybe your wall adapter is not working, due to which current is not passing to the case.

Also, ensure you are using the wall adapter recommended by the manufacturers.

Use another one to check whether it’s a wall adapter fault. If the new one is working fine and your charging case begins charging, the old wall adapter is damaged.

Therefore you need to replace it.

5. Clean Charging Case

Clean the charging from the inside and remove dirt from it.

To clean your charging case, follow the below steps.

  • Open the charging case from one side with the help of a latch.
  • Now you will be able to put your finger in and pull apart the rubber part, exposing the case’s hardware.
  • On the removable part, there will be two magnetic cubes to ensure these are clean and are in their places.
  • Clean the hardware of the case with the covered Q-tip and eliminate the dirt.
  • After cleaning everything, close the case and plug the charger into it.

6. Check Charging Port

Maybe your charging case port is loose, or its wires are broken from the circuit board, that’s why the current is not going to the battery.

Mostly this happens if your case has been dropped on the hard floor.

However, if that’s not the case, then maybe dirt in the port is not letting the charging cable fit properly. Therefore also clean the charging port of the case.

You can use a toothpick and rubbing alcohol for cleaning.

Pour a few drops of alcohol on the toothpick and gently remove the dirt from the port. After this, plug the charging case, and it should start charging.

7. Temperature Problem

It can overheat if you have placed your charging case under direct sunlight. And when the charging case overheats, its circuit stops the current supply to the battery to prevent the case from being damaged.

So, check your case; if it is hot, then maybe due to this reason, it is not charging. Therefore to fix this problem, you need to bring its temperature back to normal.

You can do this by placing the case in the air conditioner room for one and a half hours. After maintaining the case temperature, plug it hopefully, it will work now.

Conclusion

If your Jabra Elite 65t case is not charging you should try these troubleshooting steps.

  • Reset the charging case.
  • Replace the charging cable.
  • Use original charging cable.
  • Change the faulty adapter.
  • Clean charging case and its port.
  • Check the charging port if loose replace it.
  • Wait until the charging case temperature normalize.
